In 2006 your FICO Score, often called your ?credit rating? played a less significant role in whether or not you would be approved for a mortgage loan to purchase a home.
Today, your FICO Score has a major element in the approval process.
Your FICA score is maintained by three different and independent national credit rating companies, generally your score will be fairly similar, but that’s by no means a rule.
